TAP Air Cargo distinguished with the best cargo carrier award

Transportes e Negócios newspaper once again highlights the best companies in Portugal in the logistics and transport sector

TAP Air Cargo received three distinctions in the Carga 22 Awards of the "Transportes e Negócios" newspaper. This year's edition, whose ceremony took place in Porto, considered TAP Air Cargo as the Best Airline for the Americas, Best Airline for Africa and Best Airline for Europe.

The T&N newspaper distinguishes the best companies in cargo transport every year, and TAP Air Cargo was once again distinguished for Europe, Africa and the Americas.

Bruno Aires, Global Cargo Senior Director, says that "these awards are important to us, because we see them as a recognition of our work by our clients. We were the most voted as the best company for the Americas, Europe and Africa. It, without a doubt, means that we are on the right track in terms of proximity to clients, good service and time to market. On the other hand, it is also a motivating factor for the TAP Air Cargo team, who sees public recognition from our clients in this way.”

The official also underlines that "the cargo business at TAP Air Cargo has continued to evolve in order to improve efficiency through digital transformation and total focus on the client, trying to improve the "customer journey", and, in the end, this translates into better results for TAP".

TAP Cargo's mission is to provide reliable services in the collection, transport and delivery of goods and orders while using TAP Portugal and its partners' aircrafts. This service strives to be fast, suited to the needs of clients and to have a competitive prices. One of the main objectives of this unit of the Portuguese national airline is to establish the Cargo and Mail business as one of TAP's most important services, something essential for maximizing its management results.
