TAP Air Cargo's air transport for perishable cargo is specifically designed to optimize the shelf life of your products, regardless of the desired international destination.

With TAP Fresh, your goods arrive at their destination in excellent condition — whether they are food, flowers, liquids or any perishable products that require strict temperature control and specific care. To this end, we ensure that the aircraft's temperature retention settings are monitored throughout the flight and that all quality and safety parameters are strictly followed.

TAP Air Cargo is proud to support some of the world's largest producers and retailers, supplying them with perishable products in excellent condition, a fact that attests to the credibility of the service and the trust of its Customers.

For the air transport of TAP Fresh perishable cargo, TAP Air Cargo exclusively uses refrigerated trucks that circulate, at the Customer's request, between the aircraft holds and the perishable goods handling center at any point in Europe.

During the flight, the aircraft's temperature settings are constantly monitored to keep your Cargo in perfect condition. For this purpose, the Cargo goes directly to the airside facilities, thus reducing transit time.

In addition to monitoring during travel, and in order to ensure that the Cargo does not suffer any type of damage and does not lose its properties during flights, TAP Air Cargo maintains partnerships with facilities dedicated to the treatment and packaging of perishable products in various locations. In Lisbon, in addition to ensuring optimal storage conditions, Cargo is also controlled by Border Control Posts (BCP) approved by the European Union.
