What is TAP Secure Track?
TAP Secure Track is an addition to the TAP Air Cargo portfolio consisting of a tracking tag that allows you to monitor the location of your shipments in real time with GPS signals and continuous monitoring of temperature, light, and shocks, ensuring comprehensive control of your cargo's transport conditions.
These tracking tags provided by TAP are disposable and have been pre-approved to fly on TAP aircraft by the TAP Security Department.
How does it work?
TAP Secure Track tracking labels are equipped with intelligent sensors that connect to the internet (IoT), allowing them to collect and transmit data in real time and send predefined automatic alerts:
Devices
The smart label is easily activated and affixed to your packaging/cargo.
Data
The device will continuously capture data relating to location, temperature, and sudden changes in shock and light sensors (opening/tampering with the load).
Alerts
If the system detects a deviation from the standard, an alert will be issued informing you that action is required.
