TAP Dangerous prioritizes the safe, efficient, and careful transportation of dangerous goods at every process stage.

We classify as Dangerous Goods any items that may pose a risk to the health and safety of passengers and/or crew members and those that could potentially damage the aircraft. Those restricted items are governed by IATA regulations.

With the TAP Dangerous service, we handle and transport all types of Dangerous Goods to multiple destinations worldwide, in full compliance with IATA and ICAO regulations.

TAP Air Cargo's expert teams ensure complete safety when accepting, boarding, and transporting your products throughout every stage of the process. Therefore, with our Dangerous Goods air transport service:

• All documents are verified following IATA rules, boxes are physically inspected, and label placement is validated against the information on the Consignment Note;
• Dangerous goods are stored separately from incompatible substances, following the highest safety standards;
• The cockpit crew is always informed about the type of dangerous goods and their precise location in the aircraft's hold.
