First flight of the RelEye® RKN container

Envirotainer’s RelEye® RKN container made its first flight with TAP Air Portugal this week, on flight TP83 from Lisbon to Sao Paulo. This milestone also involved other ULDs from the RelEye® family, reinforcing TAP Air Cargo’s commitment to providing innovative and efficient solutions for transporting pharmaceuticals and other temperature-sensitive cargo.

The RelEye® RKN is the smallest container (1 Euro pallet) and the most recent addition to the Envirotainer RelEye® range — the latest generation of active temperature-controlled containers — characterised by:

• Greater operating autonomy (up to 170 hours without recharging);

• Real-time monitoring, providing complete visibility and traceability;

• Control Tower with 24/7 active surveillance and response, ensuring effective temperature control;

• Improved sustainability with lower carbon footprint;
